First-Time Attendee Experience at National LINC 2018
First time? No worries. We’ve got you covered. We’ve scoped out seven key steps to making the most of your time in Orlando.
1. Catch up on the webcast.
Check back in January for a pre-recorded 20-minute webcast that’s perfect for first-time attendees. It will cover everything from logistics to event highlights, so you can hit the ground running.
2. Download the app.
Check the agenda, network with peers and track conference updates in real time. The app will be available in January 2018.
3. What to pack.
The suggested attire for National LINC is smart casual. You’ll be on your feet for a good part of the day, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
4. Arrive in Orlando!
Upon arrival, head to the National LINC 2018 registration area to pick up your attendee badge and welcome packet with everything you’ll need to plan your conference experience.
5. First Things First
Connect with other first-time attendees and consult with TD Ameritrade sales experts at the First Timers Breakfast on Thursday, February 1st. Details to be announced.
6. Take it all in.
Consider this your “LINCation.”
Clear that work calendar. Attend as many keynotes and sessions as you can. And immerse yourself in all that National LINC has to offer.
Interested in regulatory reform? How about retirement plan solutions, practice management or investment strategies? With thousands of attendees and dozens of breakout sessions, we are certain that you’ll find something that sparks your interest.
You can even earn CE credits for attending certain sessions—just check the agenda to see which qualify.
Finally, explore the Exhibit Hall and Veo® Village to meet with conference sponsors and TD Ameritrade’s technology integration partners. Share a discussion with them to learn better ways to serve your clients and manage your business.
7. Network, network, network. (And network!)
More than 1,800 RIAs from across the country will attend National LINC 2018. It’s a one-of-a-kind opportunity to meet new faces and connect with your peers. Take time to get to know other attendees, gain fresh perspectives and share ideas.
